QIGONG CLASS INFORMATION

What is a 5 Element Qigong Class?

Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is a gentle, relaxing practice that combines slow movements, deep breathing, and mindfulness.

Often described as "meditation in motion," it is a centuries-old system designed to help you release physical tension and restore your natural energy.

Join us in our bright, airy first-floor studio for a peaceful 1-hour escape from the daily grind. Unlike many traditional fitness classes, Qigong is incredibly accessible—there is no complicated choreography to learn, and no floor mats are required. You will be guided by Milly through a series of simple, flowing, upright postures that leave you feeling grounded, calm, and refreshed.

Who is it for?
Qigong is a standing practice suitable for most fitness levels and ages. Stance modifications are available for those with mobility limitations, but the class is taught standing throughout to preserve the full benefit of the practice. Please consult your GP before starting if you have any pre-existing health conditions.

The Benefits of Qigong:

Whether you are recovering from an injury or just looking for a way to de-stress, a regular Qigong practice offers incredible physical and mental benefits:

Melts away stress: Deep, mindful breathing calms your nervous system and helps quiet a busy mind.

Improves joint mobility: The fluid, low-impact movements gently loosen stiffness without putting strain on your body.

Builds better balance: Slow weight-shifting exercises help improve your stability and posture.

Boosts your energy: Rather than leaving you exhausted like a high-intensity workout, Qigong is designed to leave you feeling recharged.

Highly accessible: Because the class is done entirely standing, it is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

About your instructor

Camille-Cay is a certified White Tiger Qigong 5 Element Instructor, trained in the Taoist lineage of Five Element Qigong — a practice that supports meridian health, nervous system regulation, and emotional balance through mindful, structured movement.

Alongside her Qigong training, she holds a multi-styled Yoga certification (Bali-trained, Trimurti International Yoga School), a Chi Gung Diploma, and additional UK certifications in Face Yoga and Laughter Therapy. This blend of training allows her to teach with both technical grounding and a warm, approachable style, whether in a group class or 1:1 setting.

Camille-Cay's classes focus on practical, feel-good benefits: easing tension, improving mobility, and helping people reconnect with calm, steady breath and movement.

Each class rotates through one of the Five Elements, giving structure and variety week to week while building toward lasting resilience and ease in the body.

She brings a grounded, down-to-earth teaching presence — moving with intention rather than perfection, and helping students rediscover ease in their own bodies.
